About Genesis Family Law
Genesis Family Law provides family law services focused on separations, divorces, child decision-making, and parenting time, as well as aspects of fertility law, guided by a lawyer who is knowledgeable and efficient as well as kind, reasonable, and an excellent communicator.
Karina graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School, articled at one of Ontario's top litigation firms, and was called to the bar in 2003. That same year she was awarded the Harold G. Fox Scholarship, which took her to London, England, to work alongside leading barristers and judges in esteemed chambers of law.
In the years ensuing, she returned to the practice of family law, only to later step away from the practice in order to raise her four children, an experience that gave her something no credential ever could: a first-hand understanding of what families go through when life changes shape. She founded Genesis Family Law with a clear purpose, to be the kind of lawyer people actually want to call.
Karina helps clients navigate separation, divorce, parenting disputes, surrogacy, donor agreements, and declarations of parentage. She is a trained collaborative lawyer, a skilled litigator when the courtroom is necessary, and a calm, clear communicator at every stage.
